Lost in the Soot - Part 1

These self-portraits were take 7 days after our home was decimated by a fire.  I was instructed by our insurance company to enter our home and to remove our valuable and sentimental possessions for restoration. During this process of grief, I found herself longing for the home that was ‘Lost in the Soot’ and for one last time reliving my daily routine with the remnants of our possessions.
